Would love to see peer advisors at the undergraduate level, or additional professional advisors hired to help with the workload. Advisors currently spend so much time on administrative tasks (transcript evaluation, impaction application processing, email), that there is limited availability for face-to-face interaction with students. Increased academic planning can only help with graduation rates!
With more staff, we could implement mandatory "exit counseling" when a student applies for graduation, which would help catch any issues that may prevent them from completing their degree in a timely manner, as well as give us a chance to capture their contact info and plans for post-grad.
