Many non-traditional students have asked for more evening and online sections of courses.

We sometimes see that a course has several sections, but are all offered on only M/W or only T/Th due to professor preference.

Sometimes sections of required courses within a concentration are offered at conflicting times with other required courses.

Class schedules need to be planned with enrollment patterns in mind: how many newly admitted students are coming in, how many are graduating, how many are enrolled in a course that is a prerequisite to another (and will subsequently be taking the more advanced course the following semester). Much of this data is available but we don't seem to be coordinating this will course management.

Also, we need to take into consideration the number of declared minors in the CBA when planning courses. We see this especially with the Marketing concentration, where few electives are offered but are needed by the large number of students across campus who have declared MKTG minors.

Maybe the RIP thread section needs to be further subdivided into VIP RIP and "Other Peeps That Died"...
